Huron Valley State Bank is pleased to announce the partnership with Country Oaks Elementary School for the “Bank at School” program. The bank opened for business on Friday, December 1st after a ceremonial Ribbon Cutting at 9:15 am, and will operate the first Friday of the month.  This is the fourth elementary school partnership for Huron Valley State Bank.

We’ve spent a good amount of time thinking about what our customers and the communities we serve want from a bank website. Below are a few of the key areas that we think are worth mentioning, but by all means feel free to spend some time looking around to find your favorite part.

Employees at Huron Valley State Bank donated items to fill large Thanksgiving baskets with all the fixings for four families in the community.  In early November, the bank kicked off its annual food drive collecting canned, non-perishable food items, fresh potatoes, and pumpkin pies at both of its branches and loan center. The Bank topped off each food basket by providing a voucher to purchase a turkey at The Village Butcher.  

The Huron Valley Promise paid out thirty (30) $200 grants to local Huron Valley families with kindergarten aged children this past month. The grants are used to help parents pay for college or vocational training. The Huron Valley Promise was created in 2009 by a group of area business, education, government and civic leaders dedicated to improving the future of all Huron Valley students and the Huron Valley community. It is a financial support system designed to initiate savings accounts to be used for post secondary education.

Huron Valley State Bank announces new capabilities to its mobile banking application available for Smartphone and tablet users.  The Bank’s new Mobile Deposit feature allows customers to upload and deposit checks into their bank account.
