Huron Valley State Bank Employees Provided Five Thanksgiving Food Baskets to Local Families

For the 9th consecutive year, the compassionate team at Huron Valley State Bank has continued its heartwarming tradition of giving back during the Thanksgiving season. This November, the bank embarked on its annual food drive, successfully collecting hundreds of items of canned or boxed non-perishable goods, along with fresh potatoes, butter, and pumpkin and apple pies at both branches and the financial center.

Huron Valley State Bank Donates Over 200 Toiletry Items to Hospitality House

In October, employees at Huron Valley State Bank organized a toiletry drive to provide donations to Hospitality House, a local organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing difficult times. In a remarkable display of community spirit, employees and the community donated over 200 essential items ranging from toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine products, shampoo, conditioner, toiletry paper, soap and more. The initiative aimed to address the critical need for personal care items, providing support to those in challenging circumstances.

Reflecting the dedication to recognizing and fostering talent within our Bank

HVSB is pleased to announce the promotions of three well deserving employees.

Shelley Dickerson has been promoted to Vice President.  Shelley’s journey with the bank started in 2008 and has been nothing short of exceptional.  She was instrumental in establishing the Highland Branch from the ground up and has built a great team along with growing and expanding a base of loyal customers in the market.

Sheri Miles to Assistant Vice President and Director of Marketing and Employee Engagement. Sheri started with the bank in 2014, initially in a part-time capacity. Sheri's contributions to our bank are truly invaluable. She has played an integral role in propelling our bank's growth, leading both internal and external communications, delving deep into data analysis through our Cognos system, and spearheading other crucial projects.

Rebecca "Becky" Leduc has been promoted to the position of Treasury and Loan Operations Support Clerk. Becky started on her journey with our bank back in 2015 as a Customer Service Representative at the Highland Branch. Before joining our banking team, Becky's professional background was in education as an elementary school teacher. Over the years, she took on the role of the bank's official trainer for Customer Service Representatives.
