Huron Valley State Bank Announces the Promotion of Melissa Herron to Bank Officer

Jack Shubitowski, President and CEO of Huron Valley State Bank, is pleased to announce the promotion of Melissa Herron to Bank Officer.  Her new title is Cash Management Officer and she is responsible for developing a strong relationship between operations, retail and the commercial lending team to create a link between the bank's product offerings and the needs of business customers. Herron serves as a resource for all their cash management needs and remote deposit capture services.

Huron Valley State Bank Supports Blessings In A Backpack with a $550 Donation

On Friday, July 31, Huron Valley State Bank donated $550 to Huron Valley Blessings in a Backpack to assist with adopting five children for the 2020-2021 school year. This will provide six meals each weekend during the entire school year to those five children who are part of the schools reduced or no cost lunch program.  A big check was presented at the Huron Valley Schools District Office.

Huron Valley State Bank Community Giveback Program for Seniors During Covid-19

On Thursday, April 23, Huron Valley State Bank donated a variety of shelf-stable protein products along with soup and crackers to Meals on Wheels to assist the senior community. To facilitate this program and maintain proper social distancing measures, the bank enlisted the support of other community partners. Huron Valley State Bank purchased the products from the local grocery store, Matti’s Fresh Market. Then worked closely with MiAbilities, a local non-profit to transport the items to the local field office of Meals on Wheels.
