Huron Valley State Bank Employees Complete CPR AED Training

Each year, more than more than 350,000 people in the United States experience a cardiac arrest outside of a hospital, according to the American Heart Association. Unless cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is performed and an automated external defibrillator (AED) is used to shock the heart, a person can die within minutes.

Earlier this month twelve employees of Huron Valley State Bank completed CPR and AED training. The training was conducted by Amy Goan, Assistant Chief of the Milford Fire Department.  Employees had to complete an online segment prior to the hands-on class for certification.
