Huron Valley State Bank Announces
Opening of Full-Service Branch in Downtown Northville Fall of 2026
Huron Valley State Bank (HVSB) is pleased to announce the opening of a new full-service banking location at 250 N. Center Street in downtown Northville, marking the bank’s expansion into Western Wayne County and reinforcing its commitment to serving local businesses, families, and the community. The new branch will provide a full range of financial services, including personal and business banking, commercial lending, treasury management, mortgages, and digital banking solutions, while delivering the personalized service and local decision making that have defined HVSB since its founding.
The expansion builds upon meaningful relationships the bank has established throughout the Northville and Plymouth markets over the past several years. Through the efforts of commercial lenders Darren LaLonde and Ingrid Runnion, HVSB has grown a strong customer base in the area and consistently heard feedback from clients seeking a convenient, full-service banking presence closer to home. The new location reflects the bank’s confidence in the continued growth and vitality of the Northville community and its desire to become an active partner in the area’s future success.
“Northville is a vibrant and thriving community with a strong business environment, outstanding schools, and an exceptional quality of life,” said Jack Shubitowski, President and CEO of Huron Valley State Bank. “We have been fortunate to serve many individuals and businesses in this market through our commercial lending team, and for years customers have asked when we would establish a full-service branch here. We are excited to answer that request and look forward to building lasting relationships throughout the Northville community.”
Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Milford, Huron Valley State Bank recently celebrated its 20th anniversary and continues to grow while remaining true to its community banking roots. With existing branch locations in Milford and Highland, the addition of the Northville branch represents the next chapter in the bank’s growth strategy. “Our goal is simple,” said Darren LaLonde, Senior Vice President and Commercial Team Lead. “We want to help individuals, families, and businesses achieve their financial goals while providing the personal attention, responsiveness, and local expertise that community banking was built upon.”
The Northville branch will have an experienced team of bankers including Darren LaLonde, Ingrid Runnion, Kevin McIsaac and Susan Mayes. Additional details regarding the branch opening, grand opening celebration, and community events will be announced in the coming months.
