Huron Valley State Bank Announces the Appointment of
Nickolas Jackson as Vice President /Credit Administration Officer
Huron Valley State Bank is pleased to announce that Nickolas (Nick) Jackson has been appointed to Vice President / Credit Administration Officer. In this role, Nick will be responsible for overseeing credit administration functions and supporting the commercial banking team through sound credit analysis, risk management, and portfolio oversight.
Nick brings nearly two decades of banking experience with a strong background in credit and commercial underwriting. He began his career in a competitive analyst program following graduation in 2007, where he completed an intensive two-year rotational program across business banking, special assets, middle market, and healthcare. After being selected to continue beyond the program, he was promoted to Portfolio Manager, further developing expertise in credit and relationship management.
He continued to build his career as a Senior Credit Analyst, followed by additional roles in commercial credit and underwriting. Most recently, Nick served as Manager of Commercial Underwriting, where he led underwriting teams and played a key role in credit decisioning, risk evaluation, and team development.

Nick is actively involved in the community, volunteering with organizations such as Forgotten Harvest and Habitat for Humanity. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, attending sporting events with his wife and son, cooking, traveling, and following Michigan sports. Nick’s spouse is a dedicated educator with over 20 years of teaching experience.
