Huron Valley State Bank Announces the Appointment of

Susan Mayes as Vice President Branch Manager of the Northville Branch

Huron Valley State Bank recently announced the appointment of Susan Mayes to Vice President / Branch Manager of the Northville Branch. In this role, Susan will be responsible for leading branch operations, developing customer relationships, supporting business growth, and providing exceptional service to customers throughout Northville.

Susan brings more than 20 years of progressive banking experience with a strong background in retail banking sales, financial operations, risk management, and team leadership. She began her banking career in 1999 as a Customer Service Associate and advanced through a series of leadership positions including Assistant Manager, Branch Manager, and Vice President. Most recently, she served as an Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager, where she successfully led branch performance, expanded customer relationships, and developed high-performing teams while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence and regulatory compliance.

Susan studied business at Schoolcraft College and is actively involved in community service. She volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and Haven Homes of Detroit and previously served with the Dearborn Education Foundation. She is also passionate about financial wellness education and enjoys providing financial literacy presentations throughout the community. In addition, she currently serves as a member of the LBN Group in Farmington Hills.

A resident of Livonia, Susan enjoys spending time with her husband, Aaron, their two children, and three adult children. Outside of work, she values family time, community involvement, and opportunities to help others achieve financial success.
