Huron Valley State Bank Employees Provided Five Thanksgiving Food Baskets to Local Families

For the ninth consecutive year, employees at Huron Valley State Bank donated food items to fill Thanksgiving baskets with all the fixings for five families in the community.  In early November, the bank announced its annual food drive collecting over five hundred items of canned or boxed non-perishable food items, fresh potatoes, butter, and pumpkin pies at both branches and financial center. The Bank topped off each food basket by providing a voucher for a turkey at The Village Butcher. 

Huron Valley State Bank Support Open Door Outreach Center Birthday Bag Program

Throughout the month of June, employees at Huron Valley State Bank organized a collection to support the Open Door Outreach Center’s Birthday Bag Program.  As a result, over 500 items consisting of cake mixes, frostings, sprinkles, candles, gift bags, party favors, balloons, plates, utensils, and toys were collected from the employees and community. 

Huron Valley State Bank Contributes $5,000 to the Community Sharing Building Fund

Huron Valley State Bank contributed $5,000 to the Community Sharing Building Fund to assist with their “Building to Feed the Hungry” capital campaign.  This program is dedicated to raising the necessary capital to assist in providing Community Sharing with their own building.  A big check was presented at Community Sharing’s temporary facility on Tuesday, November 23rd.

Huron Valley State Bank Employees Collect 100 Boxes of Cereal for Community Sharing

Bank Matches $2 Per Each Box

Employees at Huron Valley State Bank organized a cereal drive to benefit families in the community.  The last week of July, cereal boxes and monetary donations were collected from the employees and customers.  The monetary donations were used to purchase cereal.  As a result, 100 boxes of cereal were donated to Community Sharing on Wednesday, August 11th
