Huron Valley State Bank Announces the Appointment of Paul Dowling as Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending
Huron Valley State Bank is pleased to announce that Paul Dowling has joined the team as Senior Vice President, Commercial Lender. With nearly 20 years of banking experience, Paul brings a wealth of knowledge in commercial lending, deposit services, and treasury management to serve the needs of local businesses in Southeast Michigan.
Paul began his banking career at Quicken Loans before moving to Chase, where he held various roles, including being a Licensed Personal Banker and ultimately a Relationship Manager in Business Banking. During his 13-year tenure at Chase, Paul earned national recognition as a President’s Club achiever and built a strong portfolio of commercial clients. He most recently served as a Commercial Lender with the former State Bank, where he helped establish and grow the Farmington Hills Loan Production Office.

Paul hold a degree from Schoolcraft College and attended Walsh College, and he is passionate about working directly with business owners to help them grow and succeed. “I love how close and tight-knit Huron Valley State Bank is with the community and its clients,” said Paul. “It allows us to give a truly personal, hands-on approach at both the professional and personal level—which creates a great win-win for everyone involved.”
Paul lives in Wixom with his wife Lisa and their two adult children, Connor and Layla. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with their family dog, Bear.
