Huron Valley State Bank Hosts 2nd Annual Document Shredding Event

August 15, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at Milford and Highland Branches

Huron Valley State Bank will host the second annual document shredding event on Wednesday, August 15, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Milford and Highland Branches.  The community is welcomed to shred confidential documents safely and securely free of charge (up to four banker boxes per person or business, and up to shredding truck capacity). The shredding event is taking place on the same day as the bank’s 13 year anniversary.

“At Huron Valley State Bank we recognize how critical it is to secure financial and personal information to protect your identity and this annual Shred Event provides the opportunity to dispose of confidential documents properly,” said Jack Shubitowski, President and CEO of Huron Valley State Bank.

The bank is also offering lunch at both branches from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm.  The community is welcomed to stop inside for traditional grilled hot dogs, snacks and beverages.  “This is a tradition the bank has had every year on our anniversary,” said Lori Verbrugge, Senior Vice President of Retail Operations and the bank’s first employee, “The Shred Truck has been in top demand since we brought this event to our community last year.”

The locations for branches are as follows:

Milford – 130 South Milford Road, Milford, MI 48381
Highland – 2920 E. Highland Road, Highland, MI 48356
