Huron Valley State Bank Hosts Document Shredding Event

August 15, 9:00 – 11:00 am at Milford and Highland Branches

Milford, MI, August 2017 – Huron Valley State Bank will host a community document shredding event that will take place on Tuesday, August 15, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am at the Milford and Highland Branches. The community is welcomed to shred confidential documents safely and securely free of charge (up to four banker boxes per person or business, and up to shredding truck capacity). The shredding event is taking place on the same day as the bank’s 12 year anniversary.

“We wanted to provide this service to the community as an opportunity to reduce potential fraud or identity theft. Simple practices like shredding sensitive documents with a partner you can trust can make an important difference in your business and personal life,” said Jack Shubitowski, President and CEO of Huron Valley State Bank The bank is also offering lunch at both branches from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm. The community is welcomed to stop inside for traditional grilled hot dogs, snacks and refreshments.

“This is a tradition the bank has had every year on our anniversary,” said Lori Verbrugge, Senior Vice President of Retail Operations and the bank’s first employee, “Adding the shredder truck is making this year’s celebration a better way to give back to the community.”
